BEWARE - Not OEM batteryJun 23, 2008
By Mark Hitomi The picture of this product is a Makita OEM battery, which I did not receive. As you can imagine, I was quite disappointed, paying a premium for a battery where a higher capacity non-OEM battery could be had for less money. Check with your seller if you care about this detail.

Worth the price to buy the factory battery. I brought an off brand a couple of months back and it was useless after about 10 charges. The Makita battery is still running strong after about a year's use.

Bringing new life to an old favorite!Jul 15, 2008
By Michele Wright My dad wanted a new battery for his drill for Father's Day. I looked everywhere for one and they just don't carry them in stores anymore because they are for such an old product. I found the battery on Amazon and purchased it for my dad. He was so happy. It worked perfectly and will allow him to use his favorite drill for another decade!

By P. Giulietti New battery makes my old Makita act like it's brand new. What more do I need to say.
